What can massage do for me?

Massage has many beneficial effects on the body: improving circulation, reducing pain, improving flexibility, decreasing stress levels just to name a few.

It also helps reduce headaches, aids in injury recovery and injury prevention.

What type of massage treatment should I choose?

At your first appointment, we will work together to determine which treatment is best for you. All massages are customized to clients' needs.

Can I still get a massage if I am pregnant?

Yes, you can get a massage while pregnant. I use a side-lying position for treatments (using a long body pillow), and semi-reclined while on your back to make sure you don't get dizzy and you are comfortable during the appointment. To make sure I can provide effective and safe treatments, I took a specialized pregnancy massage course. 

What can I expect in your home studio?

You will find a quiet, private waiting area leading to a relaxing, private massage room. Sessions are scheduled with enough time between clients. so you won't feel rushed and you can rest assured that the space has been properly sanitized before your arrival.

Do you have a table warmer?

Yes, I do! I use an electric table heater so the massage table will be nice and warm. Alternatively, if you don't like the extra heat, I can turn it off.

Do you do draping?

Yes, draping is required by law. Draping means your body is wrapped in a sheet and only the part of the body we are working on is uncovered. 

What precautions do you take for COVID-19?

I have an air purifier in the waiting area and in the treatment room. All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized in between clients, and all the blankets and towels are changed after each client as well. Both client and the therapist wear masks during the treatment. Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and in the treatment room. Before the treatment we will go through Covid-19 screening form and do a temperature check. 

Can you direct bill to my insurance?

Yes, I am able to direct bill to most insurances.

How can I pay for my treatment?

I accept contactless, debit or credit card, e-transfer, eGift cards, cash or direct billing to the insurance.
